We are committed to providing our patients and visitors with a web site that respects their privacy.

All prices in CAD. Shipping charges not included. There may be times where this site may have the incorrect price for a product. In this case, you will be notified before the item is shipped.

You must complete all information requested during checkout for the order to be processed. All orders are subject to acceptance by Sunridge Optometry.

I Can't Find My Prescribed Contact Lens

It is likely a custom ordered contact lens. Please contact us directly if you would like to place an order for specialty lenses. Please note, custom lenses are made-to-order and may take an additional 2-3 weeks for processing.

Further Policy For Contact Lens Store

Further Policy for the Contact lens store:

By ordering contact lens from the Sunridge Optometry online store, you understanding that it is a requirement to have valid sight test and a valid contact lens prescription. It is also understood that if either of these is not valid or expired, you are required to have these updated at any Optometry clinic or Sunridge Optometry. The cost at Sunridge Optometry for an Eye Examination is $100 and starting at $40 for contact lens fitting ($40 sphere lens fitting, $55 toric lens fitting and $75 for a multifocal lens fitting).

Sunridge Optometry recommends daily disposable contact lenses, due to reduced risk of infection and contact lens related problems. We recommend that when the lenses are worn, they should look good, feel good and see good. If ever this is not the case, we recommend you remove your contact lenses and book an appointment at the clinic for a follow-up. The lens are not to be slept in and we recommend using contact lens artificial tears drops for comfort.

Contact Lens Follow-Up

Contact lens follow-ups are provided at no charge by your eye doctor at Sunridge. Valid for one year after your purchase online.

Returns and Exchanges

Sunridge Optometrists stands behind the quality of their products. For purchases made directly from Sunridge Optometry’s online store, we offer an exchange on unopened and unmarked contact lens boxes within 6 months of its expiration date.

Solutions, eye drops, and macular degeneration products are non-refundable. Within 30 days of receiving your shipment, you may exchange solutions, eye drops, and macular degeneration items.

Shipping charges are non-refundable. Original sales receipts are required for all returns and exchanges. All returned items must be in original packaging and in a resalable condition.

Returns and exchanges must be sent prepaid to us, and customers are responsible for return postage for an exchange.

Are Eyeglass Prescriptions The Same As Contact Lens Prescriptions?

No, contact lens and eyeglass prescriptions are different. It’s essential to have a valid contact lens prescription if you want to order contact lenses.

I've Never Worn Contact Lenses Before, How Do I Order?

Book an appointment with your Calgary optometrist to receive a contact lens fitting session.
Working together, we’ll be able to find a solution that is safe for you to wear.
Upon receiving your contact lens prescription, you can place your order with us in-store or order online.

Is It Necessary To Verify Contact Lens Prescriptions?

It is absolutely necessary to ensure the lenses are right for you. Your eyeglass prescription is not a valid contact lens prescription. To ensure proper contact lens fitment, you must get a valid contact lens prescription. Book an appointment today!
